ADAPTIVE & ACCESSIBLE YOGA PROGRAMS
Our specialized yoga programs are specifically designed and tailored for the populations we serve. Through your generous donations, we are able to offer these programs directly through the facilities we partner with and - most importantly - free of charge. Programs that we successfully run include everything from Gentle Chair Yoga at the Georgia Cancer Center at Augusta University to Yoga for Recovery classes at Hope House Augusta.
WHERE YOU CAN FIND US
Our programs run throughout the CSRA and surrounding areas and are population-specific. This means that each class is distinct in the way it is developed and delivered, based on the needs and challenges of the individuals we serve. You can find our instructors delivering no-cost, weekly programs in the following locations:

Augusta Mens Transitional Center
The Bluff Plantation Residential Rehabilitation Center

We have also been honored and grateful to offer programming in previous years at the following locations:

BRING OUR PROGRAMS INTO YOUR FACILITY
We are honored and grateful to nurture meaningful partnerships with a variety of organizations all around the CSRA, including nonprofit organizations, residential rehabilitation facilities, correctional facilities, and the Richmond County Public School System. Bringing a specialized yoga program into your facility requires very little from you other than the desire to offer your population the healing and transformative power of the yoga practice...we handle all the rest. Generous donations from the community afford us the ability to do everything from building your program to matching you with an instructor who is specifically trained to meet your needs. If this sounds like something that would benefit your population, use the form below to tell us a little more about your needs.
TAKE A PEEK INTO OUR CLASSES
The style and format of the classes we teach varies depending on the populations we are working with and our goals for the class. Our class at the Georgia Cancer Center at Augusta University is tailored towards Cancer patients and survivors who may have severe limitations in mobility or may be dealing with emotional challenges related to diagnoses, treatment, or survival. Using gentle movements from a seated position, we focus on rebuilding a healthy connection back to the body and opening spaces that may have become tightened over time.
